Museum entrance destination: 200 19th Street North at 2nd Avenue North. Parking-deck entrance is on 2nd Avenue North. Ask for the third-floor Special Events Center.

Parking, access and practical needs

Deck: $5 nonmembers; free members. Clearance: 6 feet 8 inches. Sunday deck closes 6:30 p.m.; confirm before leaving the car for another outing.

Elevators/ramps serve public areas. Limited wheelchairs available at ticketing; sensory room on Level 1 under interior stairs.

An optional extension: Make the regular museum exhibits the same-building companion outing; regular admission is required in addition to the special event charge. Visitor details

Railroad Park picnic or outdoor pause: A separate downtown outdoor pause with free admission. The park lists 7 a.m.–11 p.m. hours and restrooms at the 17th Street Plaza; check opening and reserved areas. Food is allowed, with no glass, outside alcohol or grilling. It is not event parking.
