THE STEWARD · OFFICIAL VOTING INFORMATION

Know the place and the time.

A neutral guide to the November 3, 2026 general election in Haralson, Carroll and Douglas counties. All times below are Eastern.

The published advance-voting period is October 13–30, 2026. An individual site’s operating dates and hours are listed below; this notice does not mean every site is open now.

Begin with your own official record.

Georgia My Voter Page provides registration status, sample ballots, assigned Election Day precincts and absentee information. Check your sample ballot there for the contests and questions that apply to your address.

For advance voting, use an operating early-voting site in your county of residence. On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 7 a.m.–7 p.m., use your assigned precinct. Voters already in line at 7 p.m. may vote.

The state calendar’s registration deadline for this election was October 5. Ask your county registrar about record or eligibility questions. Use the government portal for your voter record, and keep ID documents and ballot choices out of public comments here.

Bring accepted photo identification for in-person voting.

The Secretary of State’s current list includes:

  • A Georgia driver’s license, including one that is expired.
  • Valid state or federal government-issued photo ID, including an eligible free voter-ID card.
  • A student ID from a Georgia public college or university on the state’s list.
  • Valid employee photo ID issued by a U.S. government or Georgia state, county, municipal or other Georgia government entity.
  • A valid U.S. passport, U.S. military photo ID or tribal photo ID.

Read the complete official ID requirements, including details about eligible issuers. If you lack an accepted ID, the state offers a free voter-ID route through county registrars and the Department of Driver Services. Check the document checklist and confirm what to bring before visiting.

Leave time for absentee processing and return.

Your completed absentee application must reach the county by October 23, 2026. Allow time for delivery and processing. Use the state’s absentee instructions and official request links.

Ordinary domestic absentee ballots must reach the county by 7 p.m. on November 3; a postmark alone does not meet the receipt deadline. Follow the ballot’s signing and return instructions. Military and overseas voters should use their separate official guidance.

Ask the county about approved hand-delivery or drop-box locations and their actual operating hours. Do not assume every early-voting site accepts an absentee ballot, or that an indoor drop box remains available on Election Day.

Check once more before leaving.

No Sunday voting dates are listed in the three county schedules checked October 15. Confirm any later changes with the county. For accessibility or voting-assistance questions, contact the registrar before traveling and consult the Secretary of State’s accessibility guidance.

This guide provides logistics and official links. Your official ballot and county election office remain the source for your individual voting information.
