Useful tools should not quietly become property-data collection. This page explains what stays on your device, what is counted generally, and what is sent only when you choose to submit it.
Field Library entries
Calculator measurements, selections, and notes remain in your browser while you use a tool. They are not included in site analytics. Copy, print, native sharing, saving a Rain Walk, and carrying a summary into a request happen only when you choose those actions.
Saved Rain Walks
Rain Walk records are saved unencrypted in this browser profile on this device until you remove them or clear the browser's site data. Another person using the same profile may be able to see them. The tool provides controls to remove one record or clear them all. Selected photo files are never stored by the Rain Walk tool.
Optional Property Card
A Property Card is saved only when you press Save on this device. It uses unencrypted local browser storage, keeps a versioned and limited set of broad property features and ordinary measurements, and expires after one year unless you replace or remove it sooner. The tool does not ask for a name, address, gate code, exact private-infrastructure location, or photographs. It does not automatically load or transmit the saved card. Clear My Property Card removes that specific saved card from the current browser profile; clearing browser site data may also remove it.
Requests and photographs
A Library summary reaches Moss & Sons only after you deliberately open, review, and submit a request form. The submitted contact, property, project, access, and photo information is stored privately for responding to the request and, when appropriate, maintaining the customer, property, and work history. A transactional email service delivers the request notice. When a private work map needs coordinates, the submitted address and ZIP code may be sent to the U.S. Census geocoding service; those coordinates remain in the private work record. Accepted JPG, PNG, and WebP photographs have embedded metadata and original filenames removed before private storage. They are not made public automatically.
Service providers
Moss & Sons uses site hosting, private database, and object-storage services to operate the website and keep requests and accepted photographs; Resend to deliver transactional request notices; and the official U.S. Census geocoding service when a submitted address needs coordinates for the private work map. These services receive only the information needed for those functions.
Limited usefulness analytics
The site may record an event name, page path, timestamp, a random per-tab session identifier, and general referral or campaign text. This helps Moss & Sons understand which resources are used and whether a tool leads to a request. These records do not contain Field Library answers, clipboard or shared content, uploaded files, a precise device location, or an advertising profile.
Retention and requests about your information
Private request and site-operation records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for service, security, customer history, and basic trend comparison; some operational or legal records may need to be kept longer. You may ask what Moss & Sons holds about you, request a correction, or request deletion where appropriate by emailing moss.sonsproperty@gmail.com. A random analytics session cannot reliably be connected back to a named person.
