Reviewed October 14, 2026. A library card can help with admission or parking, but the pass must be available and checked out first. This guide does not show live inventory. Holiday shows, food, fuel and other purchases may still cost extra.

Carroll County parks
What it covers: Parking at participating county parks, including John Tanner, Little Tallapoosa, McIntosh Reserve and Moore’s Bridge.
Hang the borrowed pass on your rear-view mirror. Parking coverage does not establish free rentals or special activities.
What it covers: The ParkPass covers daily parking. The separate Historic Site Family Pass covers admission for two visitors.
Special events, tours and program charges are excluded. Check that your destination belongs to the Georgia State Parks system; do not apply this pass to unrelated attractions with “park” in their name.
What it covers: WGRLS lists museum admission for four people.
Ghost Train and Winter Wonderland events are excluded. Bring the pass and identification. Train service and discounts need separate confirmation; do not plan on a train ride from this pass alone.
What it covers: Free museum entry for up to four, OR 25% off up to four Family Series performance tickets.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Signature Series performances are excluded. The venue says to call or redeem in person, not online; tickets depend on availability. Bring the borrowed Passport to Puppetry.
What it covers: General admission for four during normal operating hours.
Special events and exhibits are excluded. Bring the pass and photo ID. Local and statewide pages differ on how soon you may borrow again; ask your branch before planning a repeat visit.
Choose the attraction and read its current pass rules. Make sure the benefit covers the activity you want.
Contact your branch about card eligibility and availability. WGRLS generally lists seven-day loans with one renewal, no holds and limits on repeat borrowing. Confirm the particular pass.
Collect the physical pass. Then make any required attraction reservation using that attraction’s redemption instructions.
Take the pass, required tickets and identification. Return the pass by the library’s due date.
Can we use a pass for Christmas lights or special events?
Do not assume so. Pine Mountain Gold Museum’s pass excludes Ghost Train and Winter Wonderland; the Puppetry discount excludes Rudolph. Check the named event separately. Our Christmas lights cost comparison uses published event admission and does not subtract an assumed library discount.
Is the Pine Mountain train running?
The city says daytime scenic trains do not operate in October or December, on Tuesdays, or when conditions prevent operation. The library page also carries a train-unavailable notice. Call the museum at 678-840-1445 before making train plans. Read the city’s train schedule.
What if two official pages say different things?
Ask the branch about borrowing and the attraction about admission. For example, the Puppetry venue’s current page says pass tickets cannot be redeemed online, while the library page includes older online instructions. Use the venue’s current directions and confirm before traveling.
Does free admission mean a free day?
Budget for transportation, any uncovered parking, food and optional activities. Check how many people the pass admits; additional visitors may need tickets. A pass is not a guarantee of entry to a sold-out event.
