Turn your own logs
into useful heat.
If you already have suitable logs on your property, splitting your own firewood may cost less than buying prepared wood. For a home with a properly installed wood stove or insert, that seasoned wood can also supply part of your heat.
The value depends on how much usable wood you have, your time and equipment, and what you would otherwise spend on wood or heating fuel. Include cutting, fuel, handling, storage and any extra delivery charge when comparing costs.
Make the rental week worthwhile.
For example, if you finish two cords during your rental week, the $250 rental portion works out to $125 per cord. Your other costs and labor still count. For a small pile, compare the full rental cost with buying the amount of prepared wood you need.
Plan ahead for dry wood. Newly split wood may still need months to season. Before burning, check moisture on a freshly split face; EPA’s guidance is below 20%. Follow your stove or insert’s instructions.

Our home base is near Bremen. Share your exact address so Daniel can check whether both visits fit an existing route through West Georgia and toward west metro Atlanta.
The $250 price depends on both visits fitting the route. We agree the seven-day rental period, drop-off window and collection window together.
No delivery or pickup from Friday sunset through Saturday sunset.

Daniel reviews availability, your logs, access and travel, then confirms the rental terms with you. Sending a request does not reserve the splitter.

We handle delivery and collection. Before use, review the machine’s instructions and the operating arrangements agreed at handoff.
