MOSS & SONSREADER EDITIONS

PLAIN-LANGUAGE PILOT TERMS · SEPTEMBER 2, 2026

Reader Editions begins with permission, a sample, and a clear choice.

Eligibility. Complete adaptations and personalized samples are prepared only for an exact source Moss & Sons verifies as public domain in the United States or for material covered by sufficient written adaptation rights. Possessing a copy does not prove copyright ownership. A request may be declined at any time if rights remain uncertain.

Your authority. If you provide a source, you state that you own or control the necessary rights or have written authority from the rights holder. You grant Moss & Sons and approved service providers a limited license to store, process, adapt, review, and deliver that material only to fulfill the request.

Adult and territory. Version 1 accepts orders from adults and is limited to U.S. rights review and delivery. A parent or guardian may order for a younger reader.

Sample and payment. No payment is required before the sample. If you approve it, Daniel saves a quote and payment is handled through Stripe. Production begins only after verified payment confirmation.

Fidelity. Reader Editions are reviewed adaptations designed to preserve the source's story, argument, facts, characters, conclusions, and important qualifications. The original remains authoritative. Adaptation can still introduce errors or omissions; condensed editions intentionally omit material and are labeled abridged.

No affiliation. Reading touchstones identify broad preferences only. No writer, author, publisher, or rights holder is presented as endorsing a Reader Edition unless a real agreement expressly permits that statement.

Problems and withdrawal. Customers can report a problem from the private library. Moss & Sons may pause or withdraw a project if rights are disputed, the source is unsafe, or the work falls outside the pilot.

Counsel review. These are plain-language operating terms for a small pilot, not a claim that every possible rights situation is covered. Moss & Sons should obtain qualified U.S. copyright and privacy counsel review before materially expanding paid production, territories, or third-party catalogs.
