Work from the label to the manufacturer’s diagram. A mower’s appearance or deck width alone cannot confirm which belt fits.
1. Copy the model label

- Find the machine’s product/model and serial label. Check the operator’s manual for its location; a hood decal is often only the series name.
- Copy every character. Keep the engine label separate from the mower label.
- For a deck belt, find the installed deck’s model or product number. A replaced deck may differ from the mower’s original deck.

2. Open the manufacturer’s parts diagram
Enter the manufacturer, full model, and installed deck details first. Check any serial-number breaks, deck versions, and superseded part numbers. Match the diagram’s belt path and system name.
If your manufacturer is not listed, use the official operator’s manual or ask its authorized dealer to identify the correct diagram. Photograph the labels for the dealer. Never substitute a belt just because its measured length is close.
