RAIN, RUNOFF & WATER CONTACT
Clear-looking water
is not a laboratory result.
Heavy rain can wash germs and pollutants into rivers while also changing current, depth, debris, and obstruction hazards. Avoid swimming, wading, or other high-contact activity after heavy rain and whenever water is unusually cloudy, discolored, odorous, foamy, scummy, high, fast, advised, closed, or uncertain.
Never swallow untreated river water. Wash hands before eating. Moss & Sons does not sample this river, and no fixed number of hours creates an all-clear. Check current notices and use conservative judgment.
