Electrical & water-line trenching
in West Georgia.

Bringing power or water to a barn, shop, or outbuilding starts with a workable route. Moss & Sons provides owner-operated trench excavation around Bremen, Carrollton, Villa Rica, and Temple, with attention to equipment access, existing utilities, and the ground left behind.

not a predetermined product.

HOW WE CAN HELP

Practical work.
Clear purpose.

Moss & Sons handles the excavation and agreed ground restoration. Electrical design, wiring, connections, plumbing installation, permits, and required inspections stay with the appropriate contractor or utility. Depth, width, separation, and backfill requirements are confirmed for your specific project before digging.

01

Walk the proposed route and assess equipment access

02

Excavate to the agreed route and contractor-specified requirements

03

Coordinate timing with your electrician, plumber, or utility

04

Plan material placement and access for the installation

05

Backfill after installation and any required inspection are cleared

06

Shape disturbed ground and provide agreed surface restoration

BEFORE WE DIG

A clear scope comes first.

Start with the Georgia 811 process. Private lines—such as power to a detached building, irrigation, or some water lines—may need a separate private locator. An 811 request alone does not locate everything on the property. Read Georgia 811’s guidance on private lines.

Tell Daniel about known utilities, septic areas, rock, roots, slopes, gates, and paved crossings. These affect the route, equipment, and price. Deep excavations, difficult rock, or crossings that need specialized equipment are assessed before any commitment.

COST & COVERAGE

Price the actual ground.

A short open run and a rocky route beside a building are different jobs. The quote depends on length, required dimensions, access, ground conditions, travel, and restoration. Daniel confirms the scope and price before work begins.

Based near Bremen, Moss & Sons considers trenching in Carrollton, Villa Rica, Temple, and surrounding West Georgia communities. Farther projects along the I-20 corridor are considered when the work and travel make sense.

02

Confirm the route and readiness

Coordinate the scope with the installing contractor, complete utility locating, and agree on access, specifications, price, and the excavation schedule.

03

Dig, hand off, and restore

Excavate the agreed route, coordinate the installation and inspection handoff, then backfill and restore the surface to the agreed scope.
